Pro Blogger is Now a Six-Figure Blogger
I recently stumbled across a great blog site, called ProBlogger, his tag line is “helping bloggers earn money”. I certainly wish I would have found it many months ago.
Anyway, the guy is a full time blogger now, evidently having quit his job a while ago, and his earnings keep going up and up.
Today’s post gives a graph of how AdSense earnings have increased over time, and I’m sure his income from other ads on his site bring in some nice money also.
For those of you who have some expertise in niche topics, and are willing to take the time to research and write about them, there’s a good chance that you could do well also.
Which begs the question: Is blogging a fad?
Good question. Since blogging is a form of communication, typically one-way, but comments allow public responses also, I tend to think it’s here for the long haul, but you never know.
Yes, some internet marketers are taking advantage of blogging and creating junk blogs just for the sake of search engine dominance. Those types of blogs are almost definitely a fad. But I believe the true blogger who writes because he or she is passionate about a subject, and doesn’t care how many people read what he or she has to say, will be along for the long term.
Anyway, here’s a link to today’s ProBlogger post, I would recommend adding it to your RSS feed, such as MyYahoo, or whatever you use.
