AdWords Dominator
I’ve recently been spending more and more time with Google AdWords. The longer I work at becoming successful with Internet Marketing, the more I’m convinced that AdWords and the competitors (most specifically Overture) are the most exciting business opportunities that I’ve witnessed in my lifetime.
I’ve worked for companies, trading hours for a paycheck.
I’ve worked for myself as a consultant for large and medium sized companies, again trading hours for a (larger) paycheck.
I’ve owned and operated a retail store, trading an investment in inventory with no guarantee of payback, and a lot of hours, into unpredictable income.
I operate a merchandise website where we sell basic commodities that I’m no longer afraid of going out of style, trading an investment in inventory and a lot of warehouse space, into eventual profit.
And I’ve joined affiliate programs for merchants, trading technical expertise for residual income.
I used to stay up late nights, and I always enjoyed watching Don Lapre blather on and on about how he could place tiny little classified ads in newspapers and make a fortune. It was a great infomercial, I even bought his course (and did nothing but read it).
But from that concept was born my fascination with AdWords. Instead of placing tiny classified ads in thousands of newspapers, I can place a tiny classified ad on Google, where tens of millions of people go to shop for information or products every day.
The beauty of it is, I don’t pay a cent unless someone decides that my little ad is interesting enough to click on it. And I don’t have to wait weeks for the ad to run in the papers.
How to become successful with AdWords is a topic for future posts, but the real purpose of today’s rant is to introduce you to a revolutionary new way of succeeding with AdWords.
