James Martell's Affiliate Marketers Handbook

James Martell has written a great guide to affiliate marketing, one that would be easy to pass up (because of price), and most probably is passed up all too often. Unfortunate for those people, but a blessing for those of us that are actively looking to make some serious affiliate income by staying ahead of the rest of the crowd.

The Affiliate Marketers Handbook assumes no prior knowledge of affiliate marketing. In fact, Mr. Martell stresses that if the reader does have his or her own preconceived ideas, that they should resist the temptation to inject their own personality into the plan. As he unblushingly states, he has a plan that works, and he backs up that statement with his own personal history of success. He points you to some of his successful sites as examples.

Affiliate Marketers Handbook lays out an 8-step approach to successfully building a money making affiliate site. From step 1 (how to get organized) to step 8 (boost your site rankings), there is no padding. Each step has plenty of "baby steps", how-to's, and illustrations to make sure the reader gets a firm grasp on the topic. The handbook, at 257 pages, seems like less. That's because the print is quite large (but easy to read). Affiliate Marketers Handbook is not something you can read in an evening or two. Each baby step takes some work, research, or thought. At the end of each step, you'll find yourself pausing to say to yourself "I can really do this", and you'll have a good feeling.

The price of $167.00 is well beyond the average affiliate guide, and rightly so. No stone is left unturned, and frankly, once you make up your mind that you really want to earn some serious affiliate income, you'll appreciate the fact that this information isn't being mass marketed. At the price, you'll also likely make a definite commitment to actually read and study the handbook, and work the steps.

Mr. Martell also provides a very enjoyable and motiviting "Affiliate Buzz" site, where he puts up a high quality 30-minute audio twice a month. The site is available by subscription only, I joined and I really enjoy it. New members will do well to go thru the archives from the beginning. Topics are mixed between motivating (you might catch James thumbing thru several commission checks that have arrived that day, or recounting his latest fabulous vacation with the family), to informative, to reminding how important it is to to follow the plan (for example pay attention to putting together the keyword list).

I can honestly give James Martell's Affiliate Marketers Handbook the highest possible recommendation. I paid full price for it, and it was worth every dollar, and much more.
