How to Light a Fuse to Your Google AdSense Profits!

Google AdSense is a program that allows website owners to show Google AdWords ads on their web pages, and to share in the revenue that Google receives.

If you have an existing site, or are building new ones, it pays, if you're showing AdSense ads, to optimize your pages for the most valuable keywords possible. For example, if you knew that advertisers were paying almost $6.00 higher for the phrase "personal injury attorney" than for the phrase "personal injury lawyer", and $10.00 higher than for the phrase "personal injury", wouldn't that affect the way you built your site?

Information such as this is extremely powerful, and can be the difference between making chump change online and making a very comfortable living. Whether you're deciding how to optimize a site, or what new niche site to develop next, the Top Paying Keywords database is, in my opinion and experience, a great investment.

If you're also a Google AdWords advertiser, this information is particularly valuable. I'll just give you a brief summary of a winning strategy that works for me, and let you imagine the possibilities:

1. Use the Top Paying Keywords database to identify keywords that the top advertisers are spending $1.00 or more for (there are several thousand of them).

2. Construct a web page for those keywords, to be used as a landing page to send traffic to affiliate merchants that sell that product. Put AdSense ads on these pages.

3. Put together an AdWords campaign and find hundreds of highly targeted keywords that can be purchased for .05 to .08 that relate to the more expensive broad keyword that your landing page is optimized for.

Now picture this. You'll be capturing cheap clicks and funneling traffic to your landing page which presells your merchant. Some visitors will click through, go to your merchant's site, and make a purchase. If they don't make a purchase you don't earn anything, but that's the way affiliate marketing has always been, hasn't it?

But here's the bonus. For the visitors that don't click through to your merchant, a percentage of them will be interested in one (or more!) of the targeted ads that Google shows on your page. When they click on one of those ads, you earn revenue even if they don't purchase anything at all!

I'm using this strategy myself and find it an excellent way to take the risk out of AdWords campaigns while increasing the income for successful ones.

One last piece of advice. Knowing the high paying keywords is wonderful. And so is making money from them, not to mention not wasting your time on the cheap keywords. But what truly maximizes the power of this strategy is knowing what specific pages and keywords are getting the AdSense clicks. If you can't tell already, I'm very excited about the excellent results I'm having with the powerful information that these two tools give me. My daily AdSense revenue has increased by almost 2000% since I began using them about a month ago. Of course, a lot of that has to do with the fact that I've added new pages to my sites for high priced keywords.

What's more impressive is my improved CPM which Google reports. CPM is the revenue derived from each 1000 page views. I recently read an article published by a well-respected Internet marketer that speculated on the average CPM for sites using AdSense. In checking my statistics, last month's overall CPM for my sites was just a bit above average. This month my CPM shows an improvement of over 500%! Sorry that I can't be more specific about numbers, but terms and restrictions of the AdSense program prohibit publication of revenue results.
